The airport is 23 km away from the hotel. Bus, tram, underground stations of all three lines and the Western Railway Station are within 300 meters from the Beke Hotel.

The hotel was built at the beginning of the last century (located on the city board that time) and soon became very popular among travellers. This was the first hotel in town offering laundry, serving dietetic food and diabetic cakes, too, and radiating the atmosphere of the Golden Days. The public spaces have been decorated by the frescoes of Jenõ Haranghy, and stainglass windows personalized famous Hungarian wines. Some of them survived and can still be seen on the first floor and in the function rooms of the hotel.

The hotel was re-built completely in 1985 and a new wing was added, a garage, a swimming pool, a conference center and other new facilities are at the disposal of our guests.

Since 1988, our Hotel Beke has been a franchise member (the flagship in Europe) of Radisson International under the name: Radisson SAS Beke Hotel.

Guest have a choice of 239 comfortable air-conditioned rooms and 8 elegant suites all  direct dial telephone, AT@T hotline, safe, minibar, pay-movie and naturally satellite TV programs. Small pets are welcome. Three non-smoking floors awaits our guests. We will be glad to reserve a non-smoking room for you upon request.

High-speed, broadband, wireless Internet access (WiFi) is available in the rooms.

In the Business Class rooms guests enjoy free coffee and tea during the whole day, daily newspaper, and in-house movie channel and free access to credit card calls and toll free numbers.

Heated indoor swimming pool, sauna and fitness equipment are free of charge for hotel guests. Solarium, massage and pedicure are also available. Anyone wishing to go further will find excellent jogging opportunities on Margaret Island, a 10 to 15-minute walk from the hotel.

3 function rooms separated by mobile walls and natural light on the first floor offer a wide range of layouts for up to 300 people. Original frescoes painted in the early 20th-century give an unique character to our function rooms. They all display a theme of Shakespeare (Midsummer Night's Dream, Romeo and Juliet, Too Much Ado About Nothing, The Merchant of Venice) recalling the time when the hotel opened its doors as Britannia in 1914.

The recently built Orfeum conference center opens from the lobby, where different layouts are offered by moving walls - variable in capacity and size seating 20 to 250 people.

The latest technology (video conference, mobile translation equipment, Internet access, etc.), our experience in the organisation of programs and the professional staff applying the Meetings & Events Concept of Radisson will garantee your success. High-speed, broadband, wireless Internet access (WiFi) is available in the function rooms, the lobby, the Business Centre and the common areas.

The Szondi Lugas Restaurant on the first floor of the hotel awaits guests with a light Mediterranean atmosphere. We serve buffet lunch at noon, brunch on Saturdays and Sundays. The menu card offers mouth-watering creations of the traditional Hungarian cuisine and various international dishes all bearing the touch of our master chef, Mr. Héjja. In the evenings, live music entertains the public.
